Train threat targets Jews
A Boston-bound Amtrak trained was detained after a note was found calling for the death of Jews.

The train was detained for more than an hour Tuesday in Newark, N.J. after a passenger found the note on a bathroom mirror. Police checked passengers’ identification and overhead luggage compartments, wound yellow tape around the platform and brought at least one police dog on board while passengers were told to stay on board. A fuller investigation is under way.

Amtrak spokesman Dan Stessel said he didn’t know the exact contents of the note, but a law enforcement source said it contained “pro-Muslim, anti-Jewish rhetoric.” The note included the phrase, “You’re all sitting ducks,” the source told Newsday.
