A First: Eli Marom, Chinese-Israeli Takes Command of Israeli Navy (Elder of Zyion)
I met Eli Marom a few years ago and was very impressed; highly articulate and intelligent. His story is a very interesting one, and he's the first Chinese-Israeli to reach Israel's high-command. He personally commanded a daring raid a few years ago when the Israeli Navy intercepted a ship, the "Karine A" in the Red Sea, packed with weapons headed to the Gaza Strip and I had the opportunity to hear details of that raid from him.
