Livni: Israel will evacuate West Bank settlements (YNet)

Israel plans to evacuate West Bank settlements as part of a peace agreement with the Palestinians, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Friday.

"Israel wants to end this conflict with the Palestinians, and understands it would have to make concessions for a Palestinian state to be established. We evacuated settlements from Gaza and we plan to do so in the West Bank as well," she told reporters after meeting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Brussels.
