ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

IAF kills senior Hamas terrorists in Gaza City strike
At least one senior Hamas terrorist was killed and eight Palestinians wounded in an Israeli air force missile strike on his car in Gaza city late Sunday night. According to Palestinian reports, the Hamas terrorist was identified as Khaled Abu Shamiyeh, 30, a resident of the nearby Shaa'ti refugee camp. He was a member of the Hamas military wing, Izzadine al-Kassam, AP reported. Witnesses said parts of a dismembered body were pulled from the wreckage.

The IDF confirmed that it struck Shamiyeh's car in the center of Gaza on Al Jalal Street. The army said Shamiyeh was the head of the Hamas in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Shaat'i.
According to the army, he was a key figure in the manufacturing of Kassam rockets on behalf of the Hamas and was involved in attacks on Sedrot.

He as also involved in manufacturing and developing other weapons used by Hamas against Israeli targets, and in the past was a deputy to Saad Arabeid, a senior Hamas fugitive who was killed in April 2003, and from whom he learned about the manufacturing of weapons for the Hamas.
