HAMAS PUPPET THEATRE!

Hamas’s Puppets by ABE GREENWALD (Commentary)

On March 30, Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV aired a children’s puppet show in which a child puppet stabs a George W. Bush puppet to death. Here’s the child’s indictment of Bush:

Child: “You killed daddy in the Iraq war. It’s true, you killed him in the Iraq war. As for my mom - you and the criminal Zionists killed her in Lebanon. You and the criminal Zionists also killed my younger and older brothers in the Gaza holocaust. I’m an orphan, you criminal!”

I have to admit, I love the Bush puppet’s Larry David-esque response:

Bush: “What are you talking about? Where did you come from? Don’t I have enough troubles already? Where did you come from?”

Good question. But this much is clear: If his father is Iraqi, his mother Lebanese, and his brothers Palestinian, the Democrats would champion him as being even better than Obama at leading America into a post-racial future.

Of course, the kid is an amalgam of all the Muslim victims of American and Zionist imperialism. Which sheds a curious light on the scene’s final exchange:

Child
: “You are impure, Bush, so you are not allowed inside the White House.”

Bush
: “What are you saying?! Why am I not allowed into the White House?”

Child
: “Because it has been turned into a great mosque for the nation of Islam. I will kill you just like Mu’az killed Abu Lahab. I will kill you, Bush, because that is your fate.”

Child stabs Bush repeatedly

Child
: “Ahhh, I killed him.”

But Abu Lahab was killed for rejecting Islam. These righteous anti-imperialists have the darndest time staying on message!

HAMAS SUMMER CAMP!

Hamas Summer Camps Back In the Spotlight (BackSpin)

Pictures of the Year International announced their winners list. Among the honorees is Scott Nelson for his photo series of a Hamas summer camp for kids.

The reward's well-deserved not just because his photos put the military-style camps back in the spotlight. Nelson's excellent captions show how photographers at their best are capable of providing a context beyond the visual. One example:

Scott_nelson_wpn_aug052007_3

Young Palestinian boys aim wooden practice pistols during a Sunday, August 5, 2007 Hamas sponsored summer camp in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza strip. Up to 100,000 kids from age 7-16 are given military style training 6 days a week at Hamas camps across the Gaza strip for 3 hours per day.

You can see more of the series by clicking here and a doing a search on the words Hamas summer camp.

WORSHIPERS OF DEATH

Worshippers of Death (WSJ)
By ALAN M. DERSHOWITZ
Zahra Maladan is an educated woman who edits a women's magazine in Lebanon. She is also a mother, who undoubtedly loves her son. She has ambitions for him, but they are different from those of most mothers in the West. She wants her son to become a suicide bomber.

At the recent funeral for the assassinated Hezbollah terrorist Imad Moughnaya -- the mass murderer responsible for killing 241 marines in 1983 and more than 100 women, children and men in Buenos Aires in 1992 and 1994 -- Ms. Maladan was quoted in the New York Times giving the following warning to her son: "if you're not going to follow the steps of the Islamic resistance martyrs, then I don't want you."

Zahra Maladan represents a dramatic shift in the way we must fight to protect our citizens against enemies who are sworn to kill them by killing themselves. The traditional paradigm was that mothers who love their children want them to live in peace, marry and produce grandchildren. Women in general, and mothers in particular, were seen as a counterweight to male belligerence. The picture of the mother weeping as her son is led off to battle -- even a just battle -- has been a constant and powerful image.

Now there is a new image of mothers urging their children to die, and then celebrating the martyrdom of their suicidal sons and daughters by distributing sweets and singing wedding songs. More and more young women -- some married with infant children -- are strapping bombs to their (sometimes pregnant) bellies, because they have been taught to love death rather than life. Look at what is being preached by some influential Islamic leaders:

"We are going to win, because they love life and we love death," said Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. He has also said: "[E]ach of us lives his days and nights hoping more than anything to be killed for the sake of Allah." Shortly after 9/11, Osama bin Laden told a reporter: "We love death. The U.S. loves life. That is the big difference between us."

"The Americans love Pepsi-Cola, we love death," explained Afghani al Qaeda operative Maulana Inyadullah. Sheik Feiz Mohammed, leader of the Global Islamic Youth Center in Sydney, Australia, preached: "We want to have children and offer them as soldiers defending Islam. Teach them this: There is nothing more beloved to me than wanting to die as a mujahid." Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a speech: "It is the zenith of honor for a man, a young person, boy or girl, to be prepared to sacrifice his life in order to serve the interests of his nation and his religion."

HAMAS' JEW-EATING RABBIT!

Video: Hamas' Jew-Eating Rabbit (LGF)
In the Hamas kids’ show Pioneers of Tomorrow, the degenerates responsible for this sick trash have killed off their giant bee character Nahoul (dead because the evil Israelis stopped him from getting medical treatment), and replaced him with a malevolent rabbit that eats Jews.

Yes, really.

GAZA'S CHILDREN LEARN TO HATE

Gaza's factions take their fight into the school playgrounds (Guardian UK)
Children as young as five are learning a deep hatred as the power struggle between militias takes a disturbing new course

The armed men who assaulted eight-year-old Shahab al-Akhras on a street corner in Rafah covered their faces with balaclavas. Shahab, who is small for his age, was wearing the hata, the black-and-white checked scarf associated with Fatah - the party once led by the late Yasser Arafat.

The four men who pushed him into a corner and thrashed his hands on new year's day were wearing the uniforms of Hamas's Executive Force, these days Fatah's deadly rival. 'They took off my shoes and put them on the scarf and stamped on them,' he said. 'Then they told me to put out my arms in front of me and beat me with a stick. They said that if they saw me wearing the scarf again they would shoot me in the legs. I hate them!'

The internal struggle between the Islamist Hamas and the Fatah movement in Gaza - which Hamas thought it had won after three days of fighting last June - has resurfaced. While acts of violence continue to be committed by adults on both sides, the battleground now is over Gaza's children.

It is not simply that both parties are seeking to influence the new generation. In Gaza the children of Fatah families in particular, who saw fathers, brothers and uncles defeated by Hamas last June, are taking responsibility for the adult world. And challenging Hamas in the way their adults cannot - in plain view on the streets. The phenomenon is dividing schools, worrying teachers and psychologists, even members of the rival parties themselves. And it is frightening for those children who wish to remain outside of the struggle.

2 PALI KIDS DIE FROM WEAPONS PLAY

Woman and child killed in Gaza - but not by Israel (ELDER OF ZIYON)

From Ma'an:

Palestinian police affiliated to the Hamas-run government announced on Thursday morning the death two teenagers in two separate incidents of weapons misuse in Gaza City.

Sources in the Gazan police said that Hamza Al-Arqan was killed and his brother was injured when
gunmen were shooting into the air during a wedding party in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza City.

Separately, nineteen-year-old Nawal As-Sarhi from the Zeitoun neighborhood was killed when a gunshot slipped mistakenly while she was
playing with her father's pistol, police said.
A nineteen year old woman "playing" with a pistol? From past news items plus the fact that Hamas released this information, an honor killing sounds more likely.

Ma'an Arabic refers to the boy as a "child".

The youth admitted to waiting outside a shopping mall in Pardes Hana and stabbing a random passerby. The stabbing victim was moderately wounded in the attack.

PALI KIDS PLAY AT KIDNAPPING

Teach Your Children Well (Atlas Shrugs)

Chilling: Children in Jenin play at holding a hostage during the Eid al-Adha holiday

Kidhostager_468x315

A chilling echo of violence as Palestinian children play among rubble with toy guns (Daily Mail UK)

Playing a harmless game of soldiers these Palestinian boys, who have daubed their faces with war paint and carry toy guns, provide a chilling echo of the violence that surrounds them.

And for these children living in a West Bank refugee camp their game could also be a glimpse of a bloody future that all too easily may lie ahead for them.

Jenin is a hotbed of terrorists, according to the Israelis who regularly raid the town and raze the homes of suspected gunmen to the ground.

And in recent years its residents have certainly carried out hundreds of horrific suicide bomb attacks beyond the wall that encircles the West Bank.

Anger and despair are everywhere in Jenin and these children enjoying the Muslim holiday of Eid-al-Adha today will not be immune to the feelings many people share.

CHILDREN ON HAMAS TV: KILL THE JEWS

Children on Hamas TV Children's Show: 'Liberate' Al-Aqsa by Force, 'Wipe Out' Zionists to the Last One (MEMRI)

The following are excerpts from a children's show which aired on Hamas Al-Aqsa TV on December 3, 2007.

To view the clip, visit: http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/1625.htm. To view the MEMRI TV page devoted to Al-Aqsa TV clips, visit:http://memritv.org/content/en/tv_channel_indiv.htm?id=175

Boy: "My beloved brothers, as you know, today the Al-Aqsa Mosque is crying out: 'Where are the people of the frontline, the Palestinian people?' Yes, my dear brothers, that is the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The subject of our lesson today is Jerusalem, to where your Prophet made his nocturnal journey - the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

"Yes, my beloved brothers, as you know today, and as you knew yesterday and the day before, the Al-Aqsa Mosque has fallen into oppressing and malicious hands, the hands of those who know nothing but injustice. But let me tell you how the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be returned, how we shall rescue it from the shackles of the occupation, from the shackles of the Zionist entity.

"Will it be through conferences? No, not through conferences, but by means of force, because the Zionist entity, your enemy, the enemy of Allah, the enemy of Islam, knows nothing but injustice and the killing of Palestinians, the persevering people on the frontline. Indeed, the [mosque] will be returned only by means of force.

"In 1917, the Balfour Declaration was issued. Balfour decided on the cleansing of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. But look what the Zionist enemy has done, look what Israel and America have done. Look what the allies of Israel and America have done. They have dug tunnels underneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but the sheikhs and mujahideen of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have exposed these tunnels and called upon the Palestinian people: 'Look what has happened, look what has happened.'

"These calls have gone unheeded, my beloved brothers. But is it too late? No, it is not too late. If we all unite, the Al-Aqsa Mosque will not remain in the hands of the Zionist enemy, it will not remain in the hands of your enemy, despite all their conspiracies against the Palestinian people."

[...]

Girl: "To Al-Aqsa, to Al-Aqsa - we shall unite our ranks. We will wipe out the people of Zion, and will not leave a single one of them."

MEANWHILE IN GAZA.....

While Abbas Was In Annapolis . . . (BackSpin)
While Mahmoud Abbas was on his way to Annapolis, Washington Times reporter Paul Martin spent time with a Gaza rocket crew allied with Israel's negotiating partner:

Abu Haroon, a black-clad bearded militant from the Fatah-affiliated Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, placed a Kalashnikov automatic rifle in the hands of his nephew. The rifle was twice as big as the child.

"Remember, as I may not be coming back: Learn to use this against the enemy one day," he said, giving the boy a farewell cuddle.

"I am proud of you, my son. Sometimes, it is necessary to kill," said Haroon, handing his son dates freshly picked from the tree towering over a small house in this densely populated town — one of the main centers of clashes in the intifada that started seven years ago.

Now that the sides are committed to negotiating, will the Palestinians finally Teach Kids Peace?

PA forces shoot dead two Palestinians, including 5-year-old boy (Haaretz)
Palestinian Authority security forces shot dead two Palestinians on Saturday, including a five-year-old boy, in the West Bank city of Qalqilyah. According to local resident, security forces opened fire after a 22-year-old man refused to stop at a PA roadblock in the city. The 22-year-old man was killed, as was five-year-old Yazid Obid.

IMAGINE THE MEDIA UPROAR IF ISRAEL HAD DONE THIS.

UN SCHOOLS IN GAZA STINK

PERHAPS A LITTLE MORE OF THE 3 R'S, AND A LITTLE LESS OF THE JIHADI MARTYRDOM BRAINWASHING MIGHT BE IN ORDER.

High number of students in Gaza UN-run schools fail math, Arabic tests (Haaretz)
Large numbers of students in United Nations-run schools in Gaza have flunked achievement tests in math and Arabic, the agency said Thursday, attributing the poor showing to violence, overcrowding and poverty.

More than two-thirds of students in grades four through nine failed math, and more than one-third did poorly in Arabic, said the UN Relief and Works Agency, which runs schools for more than half a million children of Palestinian refugees across the Arab world. Ninety percent of Gaza sixth-graders failed the math test, UNRWA said.

In contrast, Palestinian students at UN schools in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan are doing better than their counterparts in government schools, indicating that a stable environment is key to learning, UNRWA said.

HAMAS TV INDOCTRINATING KIDS FOR "HOLY WAR"

Hamas TV Indoctrinating Children for Holy War (Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center)
Every Monday afternoon Hamas' Al-Aqsa TV broadcasts a children's program called "Brilliant Children." The Sep. 3 episode, a special for the beginning of the school year, featured a child named "Ahmad," whose field of expertise was jihad (holy war). The "brilliant" jihad warrior is seen wearing a camouflage suit, holding a rifle and miming military actions.

Such programs are meant to indoctrinate the younger generation of Palestinians with Hamas' radical Islamic ideology, at the core of which is jihad - part of Hamas' long-term strategy to train new generations to destroy Israel.

HAMAS AND FATAH SUMMER CAMPS TEACH HATE

Summer Camp in Gaza Teaches Uncompromising Message - Nidal al-Mughrabi (Reuters)
Summer camp for Palestinian children in Gaza isn't all swimming and soccer. At the Hamas camp, attended by 60 children, organizer Hussein al-Talaa said the message was uncompromising.

"We teach them...that we reject any partition of (Palestine), whether through agreements or by force." Frolicking in a playground at the Hamas camp, children burst into song. "A Hamas man does not fear death, a Hamas man acts for the sake of religion," they sang.

At the nearby Fatah camp, children sing songs praising Fatah fighters killed in combat with Hamas two months ago.

HEZBOLLAH COMPUTER GAME TRAINS KIDS TO KIDNAP IDF SOLDIERS

Hizbullah Games Train to Kidnap IDF Soldiers (INN)
Under the guise of a patriotic educational endeavor, the Hizbullah terrorist organization has begun selling a new computer video game enabling youngsters to re-enact Hizbullah's war against Israel last summer. Hizbullah has also opened a new museum in Beirut to eternalize its "victory."

The new game, named "Special Force 2" - a sequel to a similar game of a few years ago dubbed "Special Force" - involves various anti-Israel missions of increasing difficulty. The first mission is to kidnap Israeli soldiers, in the style of the abduction of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser that kicked off last year's Second Lebanon War. Imitating the events as they actually happened, the player must aim a missile at two IDF jeeps, hit at least one of them, and must then penetrate the border fence to capture the soldiers.

In addition, players undergo training, fire Katyusha rockets against Israeli towns, and participate in guerilla battles in Lebanese villages - just as happened in last year's war. The objective: to "cleanse" the villages of Israeli soldiers.

The Arabic language daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat of London quotes Ali Saher, responsible for Hizbullah information operations, as saying, "The Lebanese child has the right to know what happened in the South [of Lebanon] and thus to emulate the operations of jihad and liberation of land."

Another goal of the game, Saher said, is to counter Western culture, which has "empty content and cheap goals... [This game] contains violence, [but] it also has a message and principles... We are not producing a game that has nothing more than violence. The difference is that a child will not be playing a pointless game with no point and no message."

The game will be sold, for only ten dollars, in Syria, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.

HAMAS TV'S CHILD STAR SAYS SHE WANTS TO BE A MARTYR

Hamas TV's child star says she's ready for martyrdom (McClatchy)
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Saraa Barhoum picked at the buttons on her pink bellbottom jeans as she twisted on a chair inside the bustling new Hamas television headquarters. The afternoon light bounced off the sparkly outlines of butterflies on her frilly top, and a colorful hijab framed her 11-year-old face.

Saraa wants to be a doctor. If she can't, the young star of Hamas television's best-known children's show said, she'd be proud to become a martyr. Saraa says little Jewish girls should be forced from their homes in Israel so that Palestinians can return to their land.

With the show's producer helpfully offering written tips during an interview, Saraa didn't get into how she hopes to die for her cause, be it suicide bombing, fighting the Israeli military or some other way. She carefully sidestepped any suggestion that she's subtly calling for the destruction of Israel.

" Israel says that we are terrorists," Saraa said minutes before an interview with her was interrupted by an errant Israeli airstrike that slammed into an apartment building on the adjacent block. "But they are the ones that must stop their attacks against us and our kids."

Saraa is the sweet face of "Tomorrow's Pioneers," a weekly, hour-long Hamas television children's show best known for bringing the world a militant Mickey Mouse look-alike and then having him killed off by an Israeli interrogator.

PRO-SYRIA SUMMER CAMP FOR DRUSE STARTS IN GOLAN

Pro-Syria summer camp starts in Golan (JPost)
A pro-Syria summer camp for Druse children has started on the Israeli side of the Golan Heights, it was reported on Thursday. Syrian flags could be seen in the footage, aired by Channel Two, and children were heard proudly singing the Syrian national anthem. The kids were seen split into small groups where they expressed their dedication to what they called their "homeland."

"Syria will remain free," they chanted. The children spoke of how they aspired to return to Syria and visit their families. They said their "souls" were connected to Syria. Head of the Druse community in the Golan, Fazi Abu Jabal, said that that the children considered Syria as their country. "It is close to the children's hearts," he said.

In the camp, each tent is named after a different Syrian village captured by Israel. There were also sections of the summer camp shown draped with Palestinian and Lebanese flags, dedicated to Druse who identified with the two respective causes. "We want to free Arab Palestine," children were heard chanting.

Channel Two reported that the camp's organizers were attempting to raise money to set up similar camps in other Druse areas of the Golan.

WHOSE IN THE BEE SUIT?

Nahoul Unmasked: The Man Inside the Hamas TV Jihad Bee, a VIDEO.

JIHAD BEE CALLS FOR CHILD MARTYRS ON HAMAS TV

“Jihad Bee” Calls for Child Martyrs on Hamas TV by Ze'ev Orenstein (INN)
Arab children in Gaza, like their peers around the world, enjoy watching television programs with cartoon like characters. However, in Hamas-controlled Gaza, Palestinian Media Watch reports that the seemingly cute and loveable cartoon-like characters do not promote kindness and friendship, rather they continue to systematically indoctrinate Arab children to maim and murder Jewish men women and children and to take part in the destruction of the Jewish State.

The latest character on the children’s show Tomorrow’s Pioneers on Hamas’s Al-Aqsa television station is Nahool the Bee, who encourages young children to follow “[the path] of Jihad” and to become “Jihad warriors” in order to “liberate Al-Aqsa from the filth of the criminal Jews.”

Click here to watch the latest episode of Nahool, the Jihad Bee.

In the latest episode, Nahool the Bee repeatedly reminds the children that the Jews are guilty of murder – particularly of murdering children and the elderly. Below are excerpts from the latest episode:

Nahool: “You and we will liberate the sad Al-Aqsa that is waiting for us. Yes, we will liberate Al-Aqsa from the filth of the criminal Jews, who killed my grandfather, and killed Farfur, and history will bear witness to that…”

A young caller, Sabah, is asked what she wants to be when she grows up.

Sabah: “Journalist.”
Saraa', girl in studio: “Wow, journalist! Nahool, we need journalists.”
Nahool: "Why? So that… so that they will photograph the Jews when they are killing Farfur and the little children?
Saraa’: “Yes, Nahool.”
Another young caller says: “We will go on [the path] of Jihad when we grow up.”
Nahool: “Yes, we are all Jihad warriors.
Saraa’: “Allah willing.”

[Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), July 20, 2007]

In Nahool’s debut episode on Hamas TV (click here to watch episode), Arab children are encouraged to follow “the path of martyrdom, the path of the Jihad warriors… and in his name we shall take revenge upon the enemies of Allah, the murderers of the prophets...” According to Itamar Marcus, Director of Palestinian Media Watch, “The expression 'Murderers of the prophets' is an Islamic expression used by Palestinian Authority religious leaders to refer to Jews. [Furthermore], defining the Jews as the enemies of God is a common theme in Palestinian Authority religious broadcasting.”

.... Recently, footage was shown on Hamas TV of Arab children graduating from a kindergarten in Gaza. In the video, the children are seen marching in formation while holding machine guns and then dropping to the floor, crawling on their bellies and vowing to become terrorists when they grow up. The video was brought to global attention through the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Click here to watch the Hamas kindergarten graduation ceremony.
