Police: Death threats received against PM, Bassi
Jerusalem police chief Ilan Franco said Tuesday that police were investigating death threats made over the last few days against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon over his plan to unilaterally withdraw from the Gaza Strip. The threats were made by phone against the premier, the head of Sharon's disengagement committee Yonantan Bassi, as well as against workers in the disengagement office, the city's police chief said at a New Year's meeting with police reporters in his office.
