ARABS FOR ISRAEL

Arabs for Israel
In the midst of recent (and, unfortunately, not so recent) Israel bashing, several Arab speakers have begun to stand up and speak out for Israel...

Brigitte Gabriel: "I'm proud and honored to stand here today as a Lebanese speaking for Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. As someone who was raised in an Arabic country, I want to give you a glimpse into the heart of the Arabic world." Different Worlds, Different Values - IsraelNationalNews.com

Ishmael Khaldi: "Two years ago, a few proud Bedouin Israeli citizens like myself asked: what is our position and status in the State of Israel in the midst of its current situation? After all, Bedouins are part of Israel's success story." Previously posted here on Israpundit.

The contrasts both paint between their Arab and Israeli experiences are quite stark.

Great blog! I am for Israel too! The conflict between Israel and Palestine was something I did not understand until I came to America. How can you have peace when the other side is never willing to? I also feel that civilizaion, freedom and democracy are at stake in this conflict. It is very disturbing that a lot of people around the world still consider Israel the evil.
