FRANCE GIVES ARAFAT FULL MILITARY HONORS
France gives Yasser Arafat a full military ceremony
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died early Thursday morning in Paris after spending eight days in a coma.
His body was taken from Percy Military Hospital in Paris by a French military helicopter. The helicopter arrived at a French military airport where a ceremony was held for him, with full military honors. The top leadership of the French government was in attendance. The French Republican Guard carried his casket to the tunes of Chopin's funeral march and the Marseillaise, the French national anthem.

Leave it to the French to honor a terrorist.
Military honors from France! What a dubious honor at that. What French fighting force since Napoleon hasn't surrendered (this week's activity in the Ivory Coast notwithstanding)?
