NOT GOOD FOR THE JEWS
Duchess of York studying Kabbalah
First it was Madonna, followed by Britney Spears, and then even Paris Hilton got into the act. Now, it seems, the Kabbalah craze has finally captured the fancy of a former member of the British royal family. Sarah Ferguson, also known as the Duchess of York, "has been drawn to the Kabbalah religion," reports the UK's Daily Mirror tabloid.
Her interest was said to have been sparked by her friend, the actress Demi Moore, who has also become a student of ancient Jewish mysticism. "Demi told Sarah how much Kabbalah has changed her life and she wanted to know more," an unnamed source told the paper.
A spokesman for the Duchess confirmed the report, but added that, "She's not declaring herself a Kabbalist. She has a lot of interest in spirituality and this is something she is pursuing." Ferguson was married to Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II's second son, but divorced him nearly a decade ago. Nonetheless, she continues to bear her royal title.
