One of the speakers scheduled to lecture a group of New York teachers on how to teach Mideast politics to US schoolchildren was Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi—who has refused to condemn Palestinian attacks on Israelis, and has called Israel a “racist” and “apartheid” state:
