CABINET OF HORRORS

Have you been following the puppet show this week regarding the new Palestinian Authority "Cabinet." In brief, "President" Abbas has pretended to be in a struggle with "Prime Minister" Ahmed Qurie to prevent the cabinet from consisting of extremists and Arafat cronies. Today, Abbas declared victory for the moderates.

Let's have a look, shall we. My, my, the cabinet includes Nasser Al-Kidwa, responsible for many deranged rants against Israel in his post as Palestinian representative to the United Nations. Of course, Al-Kidwa is Arafat's nephew. He also alleged that Israel and the US murdered old Yasser. So much for moderates not affiliated with Arafat.
