JEW, NOT A JEW?

I consider myself a bit of a "Jew, not a Jew" savant, but even I was surprised by some of these names. My gosh, maybe we do run the world!

Did you know that tennis star Boris Becker's mother was Jewish? Did you know that Fidel Castro may be descended from Conversos? That Bill Clinton's German Jewish family emigrated to Scotland? That one of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis's grandparents was Jewish? Elvis Presley's maternal grandfather was Jewish. Carlos Santana, Mexican born US musician, acknowledges descent from Conversos. Geraldo Rivera has a Jewish mother.

Lyle Alzado, US football player, has a Jewish mother and was raised Jewish. Marcia Clark, US lawyer and prosecutor in the trial of O.J. Simpson is Jewish. Paul McCartney's first wife, Linda McCartney, née Eastman, was Jewish, as is Paul's daughter Stella McCartney. US fashion designer Kenneth Cole, Jew.
