ABBAS HAS ANGIOPLASTY

Palestinian leader undergoes angioplasty
JERUSALEM - Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas underwent heart angioplasty in a Jordanian hospital on Wednesday, a senior Palestinian official said.

He was taken to a hospital in Amman earlier after complaining of fatigue, said Tayeb Abdel Rahim, a top Abbas aide. He underwent angioplasty, a procedure to clear out clogged coronary arteries. Abbas, 69, is completing a lengthy trip abroad. Abdel Rahim said the procedure was successful, and Abbas is expected back in the West Bank on Thursday as planned.

WHO KNEW HE HAD A HEART?

SERIOUSLY, THESE P.A. DICTATORS ARE FALLING FASTER THAN 1980'S RUSSIAN DICTATORS. MAYBE GORBACHEV WOULD LIKE THE JOB.
