FRENCH SHUL FIRE-BOMBED

French shul fire-bombed
A Molotov cocktail damaged a synagogue in a Paris suburb. The front door of the shul in Stains, which was made of metal, was completely destroyed in Wednesday night’s attack. “It’s clearly an anti-Semitic act,” synagogue president Andre Brakha told Agence France Presse. The violence took place on the eve of Bastille Day, France’s national holiday.

Sammy Ghozlan, president of both the National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism and the Jewish Community Council of Seine Saint Denis, denounced the incident as a “savagely anti-Israel campaign” which has been taking place over the past month in several French towns, including Stains.
