SEND ISRAELI TERROR VICTIMS TO CAMP

OneFamily's Youth Division is preparing a Summer Camp for 300 teenage victims of terror , in the North of Israel, in a quiet and peaceful environment. The children have suffered unspeakable tragedies. Each has lost parents, siblings, and best friends in bus bombings and drive-by shootings. Many bear the physical scars of terror on their own bodies.

After experiencing such shocking destruction most children withdraw into a world of their own. The physical and emotional burden they carry makes it very difficult for them to relate to their peers, focus on their school work, or believe in their future. They are desperate for release and a warm embrace.

OneFamily's nine-day Summer Camp aims to coax these children out of their silence and bring them to a place where they can share their suffering with people who understand. There are therapeutic workshops, water sports, arts and crafts, hiking, and many other games to give the children a few days of relaxing fun. All of these, coupled with the unlimited love and patience of OneFamily's counselors make it possible for these young victims to be children again.

OneFamily urgently requests help in raising $200,000 (the cost per child is $600) so that 300 young victims of terror might enjoy the counseling and the fun they are so desperate for.
