Reuters: Israeli troops kill Palestinian in West Bank

Medical officials said three Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire and one of them, a 17-year-old, died later in hospital. Local residents said that along with dozens of other youngsters, he had been throwing rocks at the soldiers.

The IDF cited Palestinian sources claiming that Yufef Atif, a 17-year-old Palestinian youth, was killed in Jenin in the ensuing shoot-out between Palestinian gunman loyal to the Islamic Jihad and Fatah, and IDF soldiers. Other Palestinian sources claim the teen was throwing stones only, and not shooting.
