Few Americans Think Israel Should Give Up More Land in West Bank (Harris Poll)
According to a Harris Poll of U.S. adults surveyed Sep. 6-12, 2005: 36% vs. 28% do not believe that Israel should give up more land in the West Bank in exchange for peace (with 35% not sure). 41% vs. 24% believe that removing Jewish settlers from Gaza and part of the West Bank was the right thing to do (36% not sure). 36% vs. 24% think the departure of Jewish settlers increases the chances of long-term peace, but fully 40% are unsure.
