PAKISTAN WARMING TO ISRAEL
Pakistani and Israeli Foreign Ministers Meet in Turkey
The foreign ministers of Pakistan and Israel met Thursday in Istanbul in the first overt high-level political contact between the two countries. Diplomatic sources say the meeting should be seen as the opening of dialogue between the two countries, which have no direct political disputes. After the Israeli pullout from Gaza, Pakistan signaled to the Israelis that it was "now ready" for an overt contact. (The Dawn-Pakistan)
