Israel Bows to U.S. Pressure, Will Allow Gaza-West Bank Convoys - Akiva Eldar and Gideon Alon
Succumbing to pressure, Israel informed the U.S. on Wednesday that Palestinian bus convoys between Gaza and the West Bank will start next week, reversing a cabinet decision made after last week's suicide bombing in Netanya to freeze talks on convoys until the PA takes significant measures to improve security.
