NYT RUNS FULL-PAGE AD ATTACKING ISRAEL

Full-Page NYT Ad Attacks Israel on Easter Sunday (TimesWatch.org)
An anti-Israeli group bought, and the Times chose Easter Sunday to run, a charming full-page ad on the back of the Week in Review section from the Council for the National Interest Foundation. CNI’s website includes interviews with Hamas leaders from a “political pilgrimage tour" to the Middle East and a picture of the delegation with Syrian ruler Basher al-Assad.

The ad comes to the defense of a hysterically anti-Israel academic paper that’s been bashed by conservatives and liberals alike.

The text is accompanied by a crude cartoon mocking the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (“AIPAC and Christian Zionists” are the proverbial 800-pound gorilla on top of a security “wall” in Israel). The text accuses AIPAC of “shunting American policy into supporting only the most extreme Israeli actions” and forcing Congress to pursue policies to “starve the impoverished and embattled Palestinian people.”

LittleGreenFootballs refers readers to more of the hate-filled work of the cartoonist responsible for the above drawing: Palestine - Bendib Cartoon. Here's the "artists’" depictions of Jews as money-obsessed America-controlling cannibals.
