4 Palestinians killed in Gaza airstrike (JPost)
Four Palestinians were killed near the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya on Monday night and six others were wounded when the IAF fired a missile at them from a helicopter flying overhead, Palestinian sources said.
The incident was a result of a joint operation between the IAF and IDF special forces, entering deep into the Gaza Strip for the first time since the disengagement from the Gaza Strip last summer.
Israel Radio quoted Palestinian sources as saying that among the wounded were two journalists and an ambulance driver.
The IDF positively confirmed that the Palestinians were preparing to launch rockets at Israel and opened fire on them. No Israeli soldiers were wounded in the gun battle that developed.
The Islamic Jihad said the Palestinians involved in the incident were their operatives.
HOW CONVENIENT THAT AN A.P. PHOTOGRAPHER WAS AT THE SCENE WATCHING THE TERRORISTS AIMING THIS ROCKET AT JEWISH CHILDREN.
