Palestinian FM urges Muslims to help ease financial crisis
KHARTOUM (AFP) - Palestinian foreign minister Mahmud Zahar said he plans to ask all Muslims to dig into their pockets to help lift his government out of financial crisis, a Sudanese foreign ministry source said. Speaking in Khartoum on the last leg of a regional fundraising tour, Zahar said he would ask Muslims around the world to donate one dollar each to the Palestinian people at an upcoming Islamic conference, the source said.

AS YOU WILL RECALL, ZAHAR IS THE GUY WHO RECENTLY CLAIMED THAT SOMEONE STOLE $450,000 IN CASH FROM HIS HOTEL ROOM IN KUWAIT.
