U.S. TEEN DIES FROM TERROR ATTACK
Daniel Wultz, the 16-year-old American teen who was injured in the April bombing at a food stand in Tel Aviv’s Central Bus Station, died of his wounds Sunday at the Ichilov Hospital in the city. His casket will be flown to Miami, Florida on Monday. Wultz’s death brings the death toll in the bombing attack to 11.
On Saturday Lior (Eliyahu) Anidzar, 26, who was critically wounded in the same attack, died of his wounds at Ichilov Hospital.
Dozens of people were hurt in the attack after a Palestinian suicide bomber detonated himself at a crowded fast food stand in Tel Aviv's southern Neve Sha'anan neighborhood. The explosion occurred at a shawarma stand, where a previous bombing took place. This time, however, the blast was much more powerful and deadly. Two of the victims were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while a third victim died on the operating table. According to a videotape released by the Islamic Jihad in Jenin, the attack was carried out by Sami Salim Khamad, who entered Israel from the West Bank. Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades also claimed responsibility for the attack. According to one eyewitness account, the terrorist entered the store and detonated himself when a security guard at the site asked him to open his bag for inspection.
