Hamas gunmen fire rockets at forces loyal to Abbas (Reuters)
GAZA (Reuters) - Hamas gunmen fired rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank rockets at the Gaza headquarters of the preventive security force loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday, witnesses said.

Two people were wounded in the clash in the southern Gaza town of Rafah, which followed the killing earlier in the day of a gunman from a Hamas paramilitary unit. Hamas accused the preventive security force of being behind the shooting. Preventive security denied the charge.

Monday's clash with RPGs and rockets was one of the fiercest between the rival forces since Hamas took over the Palestinian Authority in March. At least 20 people, mostly gunmen, have been killed in clashes between the two factions in the past two months.

UPDATE: Fatah gunmen go on anti-Hamas rampage.
RAMALLAH, West Bank - Palestinian forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas went on a rampage against the Hamas-led government Monday, riddling the parliament and Cabinet buildings with bullets and setting them afire to protest an attack on their comrades in the Gaza Strip.
