IDF GETS 7 IN WEST BANK, 2 IN GAZA

Israel Defense Forces troops arrested seven wanted terror suspects across the West Bank overnight Sunday, the army said. Three Islamic Jihad and a Hamas activist were arrested southwest of Hebron, while three other suspects were arrested in Ramallah. In Nablus Palestinians hurled a bomb at troops operating in the city. No injuries or damage were reported.

Two Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades operativea were killed and three other Palestinians were wounded on Saturday night in an IAF airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, medical officials said. The IDF said it had targeted a vehicle carrying a group of Palestinian operatives involved in attacks on Israel.

The airstrike occurred shortly after IDF troops attacked a target along the Israeli border in northern Gaza. Witnesses said there were no casualties. The IDF said it had targeted a Palestinian operative who had tried to fire a rocket into Israel. Earlier Saturday, two people were lightly wounded and seven others suffered shock when a Kassam rocket, fired from the northern Gaza Strip, landed in the yard of a house in Sderot.
