JEWISH BOY BEATEN IN PARIS SUBURB

Jewish boy beaten in Parisian suburb (JTA)
A 13-year-old Jewish boy was attacked Wednesday at his middle school in a Parisian suburb. The boy, identified only as N., was identified as Jewish and then beaten up by four fellow students at Langevin Middle School in Bagnolet. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he is being kept under medical surveillance. Sammy Ghozlan, president of the National Office of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, called for local authorities to "impose the strictest penalties on these four young racists, regardless of their age."
