ARGENTINA WANTS TO ARREST IRANIAN PRES. FOR 1994 JEWISH CENTER BOMBINGS
Argentina Wants to Arrest Iranian President for Jewish Center Bombings (NYSun)
"Argentine prosecutors Wednesday asked a judge to issue an arrest warrant against a former Iranian president and other top officials in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish cultural center that killed scores of people," the AP reports.
The decision to attack the center was made in 1993 "by the highest authorities of the then-government of Iran," Prosecutor Alberto Nisman told a news conference.
That would be Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Rafsanjani remains a major power play in Iran today. He isinvariably described as "comparatively pragmatic" and "moderate" (compared to Ahmadinehad) -- despite publicly musing about nuking the Jewish State. As Iran didn't have nukes at the time he apparently made do with bombing a Jewish Center.

Well it is good that Argentina is finally doing the right thing in seeking justice for this horrific bombing!
