FRENCH GOVT APPEARS TO BE DIVIDED ON ISRAEL

French Foreign Minister Sides With Israel Against French Army? (NYSUN)
"In a surprising move, French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy sided with Israel on Wednesday regarding the IAF flights over Lebanon," the Jerusalem Post reports.

During a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in Paris, Douste-Blazy said that the IAF forays "cannot be considered as a separate element of UN Resolution 1701." "All parts of the resolution must be implemented, including the return of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers and preventing Hizbullah from rearming," said the French foreign minister.

This follows the move by the French socialist leader to support Israel. So who's giving orders to the French army?
