AHMADINEJAD SPOUTS OFF AGAIN

Ahmadinejad to Spanish Paper: Neither Israel Nor Its Bosses Dare Attack Iran; Middle East Hates Israel; If Holocaust Happened, Where Did It Take Place? (MEMRI)

The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that neither Israel nor its bosses dared to attack Iran. The remark was made in an interview with the Spanish paper El Mundo, which was published on Wednesday, during Ahmadinejad’s recent visit to Latin America.

In the interview, Ahmadinejad said that Israel was well aware of the power of the Iranian people, adding that for this reason the Zionist regime and its bosses would never dare to invade Iran. He questioned the presence of U.S. and British forces in Iraq, adding that it was their presence that had caused the Sunni-Shi’a problem in the country.

He pointed to Saddam as a dictator being manipulated by Britain and the US, who was lauded once he attacked the Iraqi people and Iran.

Concerning Israel, he told the paper, "All Middle East nations hate the Zionist regime, given that it is a dictator and totalitarian regional regime.” He also defended his position on the Holocaust, saying if it happened, where did it take place, and why should the Zionist regime be imposed on the Palestinians under the pretext of the Holocaust?

He added that the whole world knows that the Zionist regime has nuclear weapons, and that the U.S. and the British are pleased about this.
