PA TV: Israel murdered babies in cold blood during War of Independence (Palestinian Media Watch)

Delegitimizing Israel's existence as a state continues to be the cornerstone of the ideology the Palestinian Authority (PA) presents to its own people in Arabic. Israel is portrayed as a state that was created through immoral actions, and which has no historical right to exist.

[Last month], PA TV rebroadcast a particularly hateful segment of a Palestinian Authority television series showing Israelis as child murderers. This series depicts events before and during Israel's War of Independence in 1948. In one of the many historical distortions, actors portray Israeli soldiers murdering an infant in cold blood. This hate series was previously broadcast on Palestinian Authority TV in June 2005 and July 2006.
