Palestinians kidnap, release diplomat (JTA)
A Palestinian terrorist group kidnapped and then released a French diplomat and his two bodyguards in the West Bank. The Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades said the men drew suspicion because they were armed. After ascertaining the captives’ identity, the gunmen released them.
