IDF soldiers spotted two gunmen attempting to plant an explosive device at the Gaza border fence near the Karni crossing on Tuesday. During an exchange of fire the device exploded, killing one of the gunmen. Kalashnikov rifles were also found in the area. The gunmen belonged to the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Fatah's military wing.
