OLMERT READY TO SURRENDER

Olmert: Relations with Peretz 'intact' (JPost)
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday that if the new Palestinian unity government were to free kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Shalit, Israel would have to reconsider its position on the PA coalition.

At the previous day's cabinet meeting, Olmert said that Israel neither accepted nor rejected the Mecca Accord. He said that his government had "urgent consultations" over the weekend about the Hamas and Fatah agreement, but had not decided whether to reject or accept it.

WHAAATT???? WHAT ABOUT THE QUARTETS CONDITIONS? WHAT ABOUT THE ROAD-MAP? WHAT ABOUT RECOGNIZING ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO EXIST AND CLAMPING DOWN ON TERROR?
