AS I POINTED OUT YESTERDAY AND THE DAY BEFORE, THE PALESTINIANS ARE SHOOTING THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT BY KIDNAPPING JOURNALISTS WHO SUPPORT THEM. EVEN THE P.A. GETS IT.

"We are opposed to the kidnapping of foreign journalists who serve the Palestinian cause," new PA "minister" of information Mustafa Barghouti said Saturday.

He was addressing a protest held by dozens of "Palestinian" journalists and human rights activists outside the PA's Gaza City headquarters.

Palestinian Arabs have kidnapped - and quicky released - a number of foreign journalists in the past months, most recently BBC correspondent Allan Johnston, who is still being held.
