In an editorial, the Syrian government daily Teshreen wrote that the U.S. administration is translating literally the recommendations and theories of the neo-conservatives who cling to the Zionist faith, which appear in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and in the Talmudic legends, and which call for burning the world in preparation for the battle of Armageddon. In this battle, all humanity will be eliminated except for the "chosen people."
