An interesting article in Time this month explores why Palestinian women — 88 of whom have attempted to suicide bombings since 2002 — turn to terror. The article avoids the simplistic cliche that suicide bombers are motivated only by alleged Israeli mistreatment, and instead looks deeper into the issue to reveal that media incitement, threats and blackmail, personal issues, psychological manipulatoin, rage against Israel, and promises of paradise all have contributed to this phenomenon.
