ran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that the world would witness the destruction of Israel soon, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
Ahmadinejad said last summer's war between Israel and Hizbullah in Lebanon showed "for the first time hegemony of the occupier regime (Israel) collapsed and that pushed the button counting the days until the destruction of Zionist regime," IRNA quoted him as saying.
"God willing, in the near future we will witness the destruction of the corrupt occupier regime," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying during a speech to foreign guests who attended ceremonies marking the 18th anniversary of the death of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who is known as the father of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.

I just cannot take this story! What is wrong with everyone? Where is the United Nations? (Maybe a better question is who is the United Nations?) Ok, where is the European Union? Where is the United States? This is like Osama Ben Laden and Adolph Hitler combined! Will we let a raving fanatical lunatic with an army and Nuclear weapons loose on the world? Have we forgotten so soon? It is time to defend Israel or to die trying. Enough is enough, get Olmert out and Netinyahu in as Prime Minister of Israel. America is wimping out on Iraq and that will leave another border clear for the invasion of Israel. We the people of the Earth must protect Israel as furiously as those who would destroy Israel and all of her people! If we let this go unchallenged we are no better than the terrorists ourselves.
