JEWISH BAKERY IN PARIS BOMBED

Jewish-owned shop in Paris bombed
Two homemade bombs were thrown at a Jewish-owned pastry shop in a Paris suburb. Tuesday’s explosion caused little damage. The incident was reported to the National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, which released a statement characterizing the attack as “deliberately anti-Semitic” because it was carried out in a Jewish neighborhood several yards from the synagogue in Sarcelles. The town has seen frequent Jewish-Muslim tension, particularly since the Palestinian intifada began in 2000.
