BLOCKBUSTER PAYS $50,000 FOR FIRING MAN FOR WEARING YARMULKE

More costly than an overdue movie
Blockbuster recently agreed to pay $50,000 to a former employee who was fired for wearing a yarmulke. Under the terms of the consent decree with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the video chain also agreed to change language in its personnel policy. Blockbuster also agree to provide a letter of apology to Leonard Teplitsky, who was 17 when he filed the complaint against Blockbuster two years ago. But Blockbuster made no liability of admission in the decree.

MAY I SUGGEST NETFLIX?
