OPPRESSED CHRISTIANS

Oppressed Christians (NY Sun)
Robert Novak is at it again. He writes (via townhall.com):

Rep. Henry Hyde, showing the courage that has typified a political career now in its final months, is pleading the case of endangered Palestinian Christians to President Bush.

As Jack Kemp wrote in a column carried in The New York Sun:
Israel's Christian population has in fact prospered and quadrupled in size over the last half century, in sharp contrast to the dwindling Christian communities in other countries in the Middle East. The continued dwindling of Christian communities in the Palestinian areas can be directly traced to the constant harassment to which they have been subjected by Islamic extremists.

If Mr. Novak is looking for oppressed Christians to champion, he'll find them here, here, here, and here.
