IRAN CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO "RETALIATE" FOR ISRAEL'S TEMPLE MOUNT WORK

Iran Calls on Muslims to Retaliate for Temple Mount Work (LGF)

The head ayatollah called today on all Islamic nations to rise up and punish Israel. (Yes, again.)

This time it's for construction work at the Temple Mount, one of Judaism's holiest sites—and one of Islam's longest-running brazen hoaxes: Iranian Urges Action Vs. Holy Site Work.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Wednesday called on Islamic nations to retaliate against Israel for its construction work at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount, state TV reported.

"The world of Islam should show a serious reaction to the Zionist regime's insult to Al-Aqsa Mosque," the report quoted Khamenei as saying during a meeting with Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, the leader of Islamic Jihad in Palestine, a hard-line Palestinian group based in Damascus.

Khamenei did not say what sort of response he intended, but he said the Islamic world should make Israel "regret" what it is doing.

The sad irony is that Muslims have done far more irreparable damage to the Temple Mount area over the decades, weakening foundational areas to expand their mosque and destroying archaeological treasures we may never know about.

Yaakov Lapin has a look at a century of these false claims, incendiary charges, and demented paranoid raving: The lethal al-Aqsa plot hoax.
